On February 5th, the Jade Hotel opened it's doors for the grand opening of "Art Hotel". An exhibit taking place on the 5 floors of the abandoned apartment complex. The building is scheduled to be torn down and artists from around Sacramento (and afar) came together to piece exhibits in each of the rooms in this historic building. I fell in love with the atmosphere, and a 30 minute showing time was not enough to venture and explore the way we wished, so we had to return for a second showing. The exhibit is open until February 13th, upon which it will be closed forever. Be sure to go there this week!!
